Workshop Technician - Aerospace Component (All disciplines)

We are currently recruiting for workshop technicians in all disciplines based at our head office in Great Dunmow, Essex. This is a permanent position with an initial 3 month trial period.
The role will be to support the workshop production team, repair and overhaul aerospace components and liaise with direct supervisors on a daily basis.

Preferred Experience

Knowledge and understanding of basic engineering principles in chosen field

Experience repairing complex systems to component level

Experience using schematic and exploded parts diagrams

Good academic results with a minimum C grade GCSE in Mathematics and English or equivalent.

Recognised engineering qualification in chosen field

Literate and proficient in Microsoft Office

Able to produce accurate and neat maintenance records and to be able to read, write and understand English

Comfortable working with computers and software in general.

Proven track record of working to deadlines and have a positive and flexible approach to problem solving.

Good communication and organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Hardworking and conscientious approach to a career in aerospace engineering
