Electrical & Instruments

Having undertaken approved OEM training and gained extensive product knowledge at component level, our team can provide effective and highly economical repairs to your aircraft’s electrical parts.

Our electrical shop utilises state-of-the-art test stands to find faults quickly and accurately. The sheer efficiency and adaptability of our setup helps to reduce the labour involved in repairing, maintaining, or overhauling your electrical aircraft components and instruments, without compromising on the safety and reliability of the end product – even if the scope of works needs to change while the job is in progress.

Depending on part availability and lead times, we can often turn projects around within as little as 14 days.

You can be confident in Skysmart’s solutions. From tests and re-certifications to modifications, we can tailor our electrical services to suit your unique requirements, and our capabilities span modern airliners all the way back to warbirds.

Aside from our work with commercial enterprises – which includes the in-house development of bespoke components in collaboration with airlines – we also provide extensive support to private flying clubs and owners of light aircraft. In fact, we have access to many RAF AP documents, which enables us to repair and maintain vintage aircraft instruments and old-school mechanical units.

Our electrical workshop boasts a wide array of automated tooling and testing equipment that takes the potential for human error out of the equation when assessing and diagnosing components, guaranteeing faster and more accurate results. We actively cross-reference our own testing methods with those of our OEMs, and our tools and techniques have been approved by major manufacturers.

Our electrical & instruments solutions include

  • Inspect/Test

  • Modifications

  • Service Bulletins (SBs)
